An Elephant in the Room
“All entrances are closed…”
An award-winning play by a Panamanian artist.
Written by Roberto Thomas-Díaz, the Panamanian artist and winner of the 2022 Ricardo Miró Award.
This play is supported by GMF’s Fragments of Brilliance.
The story
A protest blocks the entrances to the busiest hospital in Panama City. Inside a storage room, four women who work there discover something unusual: a man wearing a hospital uniform has broken in to steal. No one can leave or enter. Who is he? What do they do with him?
“All entrances are closed…”
